Gable roofed halls

Gable halls SKAVSKA HALE

Gabled halls have practically no surface limitations, present a classic appearance, and are used both in industrial construction and in public utility structures. Hall coverings can be made not only of tarpaulin, but also of sheet metal and sandwich panels of the right thickness.

A gable roof with the correct angle of inclination ensures that water from rainfall and snow drains evenly to the two sides of the hall. The choice of a gabled roof means saving materials used for the cladding of the side walls, whose area is correspondingly smaller. Gabled halls are used where building conditions do not allow the installation of arched halls.

SKAVSKA HALE carries out orders for various types of gabled halls. Their most important applications are industrial halls, warehouse halls and halls for agriculture.

Applications of gable halls

Halls for agriculture

Their car is lightweight. Agricultural halls serve as garages for agricultural machines, animal halls and grain storage halls, constituting an alternative to an arched hall when this type of hall is not suitable for a specific investment or the client prefers roofs of a different shape.

Warehouse halls

Gable halls are used as warehouse halls with a wide range of applications: as livestock buildings, such as barns, pigsties, hen houses. As well as warehouses for agricultural products, including freezers and cold stores, feed warehouses, fruit and vegetable sorting rooms and garages for agricultural machines.

Industrial halls

The tent halls ordered by our clients for the industrial sector are, in practice, perfect as: warehouses, production halls, aircraft hangars, silo roofs, and waste storage facilities.

How is a gable hall assembled?

The investor is responsible for the following steps:

  1. preliminary work related to the preparation of the site for the assembly of the hall, such as ground levelling, drainage and control of the bearing capacity;
  2. foundation preparation: (so-called shallow foundation):
  • for year-round hall: fixed foundation;
  • for the hall used temporarily, there can be anchors, foundation screws, concrete blocks, providing solid support for roof arches.

The other activities are carried out by SKAVSKA HALE qualified fitters. Those include:

  1. mounting the main load bearing structure, which consists of a roof structure and profiles;
  2. assembly of hall roofing covered with PVC tarpaulin, considering the necessity of thermal and acoustic insulation, which proves achieving adequate ventilation and keeping proper temperature in the case of halls serving as sensitive products warehouses;
  3. installation of sheet metal on the sides of the hall
  4. finishing works, which involves the installation of gates, doors, and the placing of all crucial elements inside the hall.
